When it comes to the Air Foamposite series, historically, what works best in the present is often what worked well in the past. New variations of the shoe haven’t fared nearly as well as beloved retro pairs.
So what does that mean for Nike who can’t continue to retro the same pair over and over again? Simply produce slight variations of retros that aren’t exactly the same yet not far from it.
If the Nike Air Foamposite One “Copper” is the mothership, then the upcoming “Hyper Crimson” is most certainly an offspring.
Gleaming in a similar rustic hue that leans towards that metallic copper shell, black secondary coloring surrounds the base while Swoosh branding lets us know this is a Foamposite Pro and not a Foamposite One.
While the “Copper” Foams aren’t exactly rare given a retro back in 2017, that should take away from the “Hyper Crimson” release.
Expect the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Hyper Crimson” this April. More details to come.
Update 3/27: Nike’s Air Foamposite Pro “Hyper Crimson” will release on April 6 for $220 at select Swoosh retailers including Shoe Palace.
