Yesterday Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley, also known as N.E.R.D., released their new comeback single with Rihanna entitled “Lemon.” The song will likely be performed by the trio during an appearance at Complex Con in Long Beach this weekend. A platform that will also play host to the release of this collaborative N.E.R.D. x adidas NMD Hu.
Previewed for the first time back in late summer, this smooth black pair features “YOU” and “NERD” written across each upper while the brand’s famed brain logo – designed by OBEY founder Shepard Fairey – marks the heel tab.
The N.E.R.D. x adidas NMD Hu will release exclusively at Complex Con on November 4-5 alongside a training gear collection that highlights hoodies, tees and other workout-related items. Stay tuned for more on this developing story in the days to come.
