Philly skateboarding legend Jimmy Gorecki and his JSP (Jimmy Sweatpants) apparel line have teamed up again with Vans Vault for another collaboration on the iconic Vans Chukka.
Named the “Roses Grown in Granite” colorway, a soft pink suede is used on the upper sitting on top of a hot pink and white checker print on the midsole. The checkerboard print is used on the Vans Cush insole and a translucent rubber is implemented in the outsole and bumper.
Philadelphia artist Joe Lees tags the midsole with homages to Philly with its zip code “215” and “Love” which pays tribute to LOVE Park which is an iconic skate spot. “JSP” is also tagged on the lateral side of the midsole.
