The 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend has come and gone. During the big sporting event, Jayson Tatum and Jordan Brand officially unveiled the player’s first signature silhouette dubbed the Jordan Tatum 1.
Along with this “St. Louis” colorway, the Jordan Tatum 1 will also drop in a “Barbershop” outfit inspired by the confidence Tatum feels whenever he gets a haircut. The sneaker’s mixed-constructed upper is anchored in various hues of tans and chocolate browns. Helping to elevate the pair is the Jumpman logo on the lateral heels, JT’s insignia on the tongues, as well as the multi-colored heel tabs.
In terms of specs, the lightweight basketball shoe boasts a reinforced TPU frame and an uncaged Zoom Air unit to provide energy return.
“I want people to feel like they can connect to me,” shared Tatum. “I remember being a kid, walking into the store, and looking for the signature shoes of my favorite players. The moment I saw the shoe or put the shoe on, I felt like I was in sync and closer to them in a way. So, I want this shoe to be a bridge between my fans and me to bring us closer together.”
