Following the recent news of a possible Air Jordan 11 “72-10″ release this holiday season, we at Nice Kicks decided to take a trip down memory lane and explore the History of Holiday Air Jordan 11 Releases.

Though it was the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” that started off what has now become a highly anticipated annual tradition from Jordan Brand, drops like the “Playoffs”“Cool Grey”, “Concord”“Gamma Blue”, and last year’s “Legend Blue” offerings have since added to the allure of the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette.

Although there are 10 months separating us from when the next holiday release will be unleashed upon the masses, only time will tell if the “72-10” variation will have what it takes to carry the torch and add another level to the synonymous end of the year Air Jordan 11 portfolio. Were you fortunate enough to get your hands on any of the past holiday drops? Are you looking forward to what’s to come from the AJ11 in December? Do you think retailers will do something different with the release in order to cut down on the yearly chaos? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts, and be sure to keep checking with Nice Kicks for more.
