Penny Hardaway‘s roots are in Memphis, where he also went to college. Getting his start for the Treadwell High School Red Eagles, Anfernee didn’t forget where he came from. Even though it used the mascot for a nickname instead of the school’s name like most of the other high school-inspired sneakers, the Nike Penny 5 “Red Eagle” pays appropriate homage.
