While his newest signature shoe, the adidas DLillard 2, officially launched this morning in Blazers’ black and red, Portland’s star guard Damian Lillard was also gifted another custom pair earlier today.
That’d be the “Dame 2 Skate,” a roller skate equipped update to his second shoe, customized by Portland-based company Recon Northwest as a gift from adidas. Featuring a blacked-out outsole and powder coated accents, the skateable hybrid also includes the Oakland tree graphic printed along the plate. Lillard will be putting them to use often, as he’s been to known to frequent Portland area rinks with friends and family to cruise around for a couple hours on an off day.
