For Jordan Brand‘s 2022 lineup, the creatives look to Africa for inspiration on this offering of the Air Jordan 1 Mid. Although the story behind the design remains unknown, the silhouette drops a few hints of its design inspiration.
The silhouette comes dressed in a mix of premium materials covered in shades of red, pink, beige, and off-white. Returning motifs featured are two Nike Checks, followed by the signature Air Jordan Wings logo on the lateral ankle. Additionally, the iteration includes its classic Jumpman logo on the tongue. Highlighting the pair are heel tags with graphics of Africa in a warm pink hue. For the finishing touches, the sneaker includes an off-white and purple sole unit.
