For 2010, the legendary Air Trainer Huarache originally introduced in 1992 was revamped in a big way. The Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer retains looks similar to its inspiration but its cushioning and construction has been completely overhauled.
Zoom Air cushioning and multiple rubber densities were utilized for this model's sole, as increasing responsiveness was the priority for this shoe. Larry Fitzgerald, Pro Bowl receiver for the Arizona Cardinals, helped in the creation of the Zoom Huarache Trainer, as his blend of speed, power and agility made him the perfect candidate around whom to build a performance model. This sneaker was one of a handful that helped revive the training category completely.
