Nike Kevin Durant shoes
The Nike KD V was released in a number of great colorways last year, but not every great colorway cooked up by Nike makes it to retail. This “Thunder Camo” colorup of Kevin Durant’s fifth signature shoe with Nike Basketball did not release, but is available in a lone size 12 at eBay. If the upper wasn’t enough to catch your eye, peep the icy blue outsole. If this pair had hit shelves, would you have copped or dropped?
After Kevin Durant shed light on the Elite version of his latest signature a couple of months back, the Nike KD VI Elite “Team” is officially unveiled. Reworked from the low-top KD VI for a playoff push, the Elite “Team” most notably adds a full-length Nike Zoom unit that is completely visible for the first time in any of KD’s signature shoes. Even though it is pumped up with visible air, this updated version is actually lighter than the original. Designed to move naturally with the foot, Flywire and Kevlar fibers combine to provide lightweight lockdown. Premium materials and tailored details make up the postseason rendition of Durant’s latest, which is first seen in OKC Thunder-hues. Releasing along with the rest of the “Team”, alongside LeBron and Kobe’s models, the playoff KD VI will be available to the public on April 11th at select Nike Basketball carriers. Dressed like a daybed or your grandmother’s big-buttoned blazer, the Nike KD VI EXT “Floral” defies convention by donning a flowery fabric facade. A black base is all but covered in embroidered petals in hues of blue and orange, adding depth and design to the usually smooth Hyperfuse base. Air Max cushioning is still apparent in the orange accented heel, with an icy outsole adding even more style points. Look for the Nike KD VI EXT “Floral” to launch next Saturday via @nikestore Twitter link.
In bloom, the Nike KD VI EXT QS “Floral” sees another lifestyle take on the straight hoopin’ silo. Forefoot Zoom Air and heel Air Max cushioning are intact, as the upper ditches Hyperfuse in favor of floral fabric and d-ring eyelets. Black branding, an orange Air window and translucent outsole contrast the blue-based upper, with a white midsole appealing to an array of wearers. The Nike KD VI EXT QS “Floral” is available now at Titan.
The Nike KD VI “Liger” takes the Kevin Durant signature line into the wild, applying animal aesthetic on his latest silo. A gradient upper fades into electric green on the toe box, with an atomic orange blend of leopard and tiger print popping on top of it. Check out official images of the Nike KD VI “Liger” below and look for these to launch on March 1st at Nike.
