Swoosh Shut Out of Final Four
Davidson put up quite a fight against the Kansas Jayhawks, but with the miss of a last second shot by the Wildcats, NCAA Basketball history was made as all 4 No. 1 seeded teams advanced to the Final Four since the round of teams was expanded to 64 in 1985. Folks in Beaverton saw their last hope in Davidson to make the Final Four as all other Nike endorsed school had fallen in the Tourney. That’s right, Team Nike has been shut out of the Final Four. This is the first Final Four where not a single Nike shoe will be worn during the Final Four weekend since the field was expanded.
Fan apparel has long been big business for March Madness season, but this year fans could literally get decked out from head to toe. Adidas made team editions of the TS Pro Model available to the public for the start of the tourney and Jordan Brand will release the player editions of the Jordan 15SE for UNC and Georgetown April 12th - one week after the new Champ is crowned. Adidas’ lineup of team TS Pro Models are available online at Finishline, but you’ll have to wait until the Madness is over to grab the UNC Jordan’s. |

The UNC Jordan 15 SE are hands down the best. The argyle look is killer. I love the argyle over the laces. Adidas need to bring our team inspired Crazy 8’s or other “Feet You Wear” basketball shoes. They are the best!

That bracket had the best chances other than the 3 No. 1 seeds to break through with an Adidas team. No 2 Tennessee and No 3 Louisville are both on Adidas.

Here is an interesting note about the Swoosh getting shut out of the Final Four. On Eastbay.com you can pre-order your NCAA Final Four Bound T-shirts which are made by Nike and Jordan. The UCLA, Memphis, and Kansas shirts are made by Nike and the UNC one is made by Jordan. (It’s probably just a Nike tagged shirt with a Jumpman logo on the shirt.) So maybe the Swoosh isn’t getting completely shut down

What’s the deal with the Pony’s?? The old school Spuddz with some car paint on the side of the outsole. Never saw that before.
