In August we gave you an extensive look at the Fall Adidas Consortium Package that featured among other sets of kicks, the Force Pack. This package was a pair of Adidas Superstars that unmistakably drew inspiration from the legendary Lucas trilogy Star Wars. A few months of licensing negotiations have delayed the release of the Star Wars x Adidas Super Stars, but at last they have started popping up at shops worldwide.

Each of the Super Stars are limited to only 800 units and come in creative and commemorative packaging similar to what Bathing Ape has done for their DC and Marvel Comics collabs.

Great attention to detail was taken by Adidas for these sneakers. The “Yoda” Super Stars feature a hemp upper much like something the Jedi Master wore on his home planet of Dagobah. In addition to the good choice of colors and materials, Adidas also covered the lace tips in the neon green color of Yoda’s lightsaber. The “Darth Vader” Super Stars takes inspiration from the characters mask. The parallel lines on the side are like that covering Vader’s mouth and the black patent leather to represent the glossy finish. Again Adidas finished off the kicks with red lace tips to match Vaders lightsaber.

Though these shoes will be available soon at US doors, a few pairs have been made available on Kix-Files.
