New Balance has released the classic 574 in a series of Sesame Street styles including pairs modeled after Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Oscar the Grouch. Besides colors and imagery of the respective characters, the liner and tongue feature a furry material similar to that of the character the shoe represents. New Balance Kids has long been a financial supporter of Sesame Street and other programs to promote children health, but these sneakers take this commitment another step further.
