Yesterday, Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand debuted their respective “MLK Day” PE collections in honor of the late-great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. To that end, there was some confusion as to if the MLK Day offering stood in place of the annual BHM collection. They don’t.
The player exclusive collection was just that, exclusive to the players, therefore not a general release. The much-anticipated Nike 2017 BHM Collection is releasing this February, as confirmed in a tweet yesterday by Nike PR Director Charlie Brooks.
