Nike Air Force 1 Lux for 2008
Last year was major for Air Force Ones. The silver anniversary was welcomed with over a hundred and a half releases, among them, two pairs of $2,000 Lux Air Force Ones that were hand constructed in Italy.
The Lux Air Force 1 is anything but a new concept. It first was released in 2002 as part of a limited Lux Package that included 3 all black Italian made sneakers - Air Force 1 High, Trainer SC, and Air Max 95. This collection of Lux Air Force Ones include an all white and an all black model that both feature faux croc skin, rich leather upper, and perforated leather lining. In addition to the A-list materials, the shoes have a translucent sole and Air Max heel. Rumors circulated a while back when Hiroshi Fujiwara leaked photos of a pair of all alligator skin Air Force Ones with a full length Air Max sole (see article), but it looks like those will just be in his closet for now. These have popped up first at SneakerHead.com with a more affordable $299 price tag. |

^ I hear you. I am sure that these are made in China as it is. I don’t know how one justifies that price. I remember that I grabbed the Lux Air Force 1 Lows from 2003 (all white woven lows) for $220 from an employee at Nike. Those were made of Italian leather in Italy and limited to 3000 pairs.
So many shoes out there right now and I could get a ton of nice stuff for $300.

I need these for prom

I like them, but not for $300. Probably made in china too, like you said. Is there any word on if the leathers any good? Cuz the leather on the toe box doesnt look too special to me, for a a Lux edition, and thats faux croc.
Gold air bubble looks good in the black ones, just sayin. Why not match it with a gold debray tho?

Prom? I need these joints for my wedding.
Comment by roback1991 — March 28, 2008 @ 10:30 am
BKost,
I think the air bubble is clear, but they just have alot of yellow hue in the photo. It would have been nice if they did do gold debrays on these though.
Comment by Nice Kicks — March 28, 2008 @ 10:31 am
Look at the second picture of the black ones where you can see the heel, and look at the second picture of the white ones where you can see the heel.
That definatley looks like theyre colord to me, but idk, could not be.

WAT!!!!? THEY CRAZY THIS R SO OVER PRICED 4 ME BUT DA ALL WHITE LOOKS G THO
Comment by G MODE REPRESENTA — March 28, 2008 @ 10:35 am
You know I was just thinkin, an air bubble doesn’t come off as lux to me at all. Shoulda gone with an insideout midsole, or something. I honestly don’t think this shoe looks very “lux” at all, when you think about it. All they did is through some faux croc on air max supremes.
Comment by BKost — March 28, 2008 @ 10:39 am
Meant to say throw instead of through, in case that confused anyone lol

NICEKICS-is denimandsole a legit website? the have the lux htm air force ones (Style#:318930-221 colorway:baroque/brown Year:2008) for $800
Comment by curiousgeorge — March 28, 2008 @ 10:46 am
^yes they are legit. But yea i agree with the comments above. If a pretty plain shoe is going to have that high price tag then it needs to at the least have some great materials and be put together with quality.

Yeah for the shoes but NO WAY for the price. I’d rather pay that price for a JORDAN PACKAGE.
Comment by lcsupa — March 28, 2008 @ 12:24 pm
the price sucks.
Comment by bkbigjay — March 28, 2008 @ 2:29 pm
the price is sick for some af1’s period, they to plain for dat price, and look just like a premium, which i think prices are to high. Air forces should cost more than J’s.

WHY almost every sneak wit that premium or design by whoever or limited or fusion at these crazy prices if its worth it or very limited i can understand but some of these sneaks is costing more than some JAYS and they don’t or won’t hold that valve $300 is a nice chunk of change i guess the sneaker companies making up for the recession the U.S. is in
Comment by solesaved — March 28, 2008 @ 6:08 pm
the white ones r dope
Comment by greenmaker24 — March 28, 2008 @ 9:07 pm
PERSONALLY, I THINK THAT FOR 300 I WOULD JUST SPEND 100 MORE AND PICK UP SOME PRADA SNEAKERS AND KNOW WHAT IM GETTING. AF1′S SHOULD NOT COST MORE THAN 75- 150. ANYTHING OVER THAT FOR SOME,UNCOMFORTABLE SNEAKERS IS A LITTLE INSANE
Comment by ish — March 29, 2008 @ 8:56 am
These are hard especially the Black, I really cant complain on the price not that bad considering what they have been dropping recently, The fusions have been horrible and most of the Jordans are clown shoes to be laughed at, and that is 100
Comment by 420King — March 29, 2008 @ 10:45 am
I been had these black ones and I paid 190 for them from ID4 shoes on ebay.
Comment by Hatt — March 29, 2008 @ 12:15 pm
The price of shoes really shouldnt matter to someone who collects shoes, or even visits this site. Your telling me you would want to spend hours outside to get a Jordan on release day and not 100% be sure you are going to get them? If you have the money, want them, and think you would be better off buying those than anything else just get them. Air Forces are obviously going to be higher in price depending oon the material they are made out of. So 75-150$? For a pair like this? Not realistic. Its not about comfort most of the time either. The Undefeated dunks arent the most comfortable thing in the world and I ended up spending 475$ on them. They hurt my feet but so what.

If the white ones were $200, I’d copp…..but cant do it for $300, especially when the May and June Jordan countdown packs drop. I really like the white ones, tho.
Comment by TechNutt — March 30, 2008 @ 10:49 pm
THOSE WHITE 1′S ARE RAW AS HELL
Comment by L.B. LIL KOBE #24 — March 31, 2008 @ 4:06 pm
Losers. This companies just only want to get of our money sneakers shouldn’t be more than 150 point period. Jays area alwayz better than af1 and by now they cost less wow. Companies just want our money. The same with the clothes a shirt 100 bucks a jean 150. nothing is cheap and the usa economy is dropping down as the president is giving away our money to this patetic war and makin loans in different other countries. Be smart dont be a fool buy a complete regular white or black one those match with anything you pocket will be happy. Save money for the future stop buying million of sneaker that you only gonna use one day. This is the time to think about it.
