Marty McFly Hyperdunks Detailed Shots
For those who were fortunate enough to buy (and not resell) the Marty McFly Hyperdunks or those who want to torture themselves a bit for not having them, posted are some new detailed photos of the shoes by professional product photographer Matt Fried. Besides the attractive shape of the silhouette and the gorgeous colors, the glowing sole completes this sneaker.
For a healthy amount over $1,000 one can grab the McFly Hyperdunks on eBay; however, no Hoverboard included. Plenty of photos after the jump. |

deeznuts you can take them in your mouth. only person lamer than you (cus you came to the wrong place to be boasting about resell) is the cakeboy who bought them from you
as far as the pics. wow, nice shots Fried. I have to admit the shoes are nice, very nice.
Comment by jibby — July 15, 2008 @ 9:59 am
The shoes just look like typical NIKE basketball sneakers, i cant see a person rockin these with Jeans and them lookin nice. They look like you could only hoop in these totally OVERhyped.
Comment by Retro 3 — July 15, 2008 @ 10:03 am
I don’t see why they wouldn’t look good with jeans
Comment by Flatsole — July 15, 2008 @ 10:07 am
Sneakers are nice, but $2000 dollaz in cash money? HAHA Ridiculous I rather take that money and make it rain at the strippies!
Comment by Pete Skeet — July 15, 2008 @ 10:08 am
If these came out as a regular release I probably wouldn’t have taken the time to buy them…otherwise they’re a nice looking shoe but $2,000—>NOT UNLESS THEY ACTUALLY ALLOW THE WEARER TO TRAVEL THROUGH TIME.
Comment by nikeindabutt — July 15, 2008 @ 10:16 am
does ne one know what the lowest size these came in?
Comment by jr — July 15, 2008 @ 10:24 am
^ I heard sz 9, but I am not 100% confident
Comment by Nice Kicks — July 15, 2008 @ 10:27 am
i got 1 simple word for those people that pay huge amount of dollaz to buy these shoes. i admit i love the sneaker but paying that amount of money for something i can basically get when its duplicated trust me!!!(and its going to be duplacated) nike knows it will duplacate like they did every sneaker they basically made and the top shoe JORDAN
Comment by jayblaze216 — July 15, 2008 @ 10:37 am
ok, they are tight, but how much did it actually cost nike to make? i have loved sneaks as long as i can remember, but the costs are just ridiculous. and $2k? more power to you if you can drop that on a !@#%^& pair of shoes, i got bills to pay.
someone made the comment that nike could have made a larger run of these, and made stupid money. amen, brother. i guess they don’t need any more. matt, thx for running such a great site, it always gives me a reason to slack off at work
Comment by diabolik77 — July 15, 2008 @ 10:55 am
Oh man, those McFly’s (2015’s) are FRESH TO DEATH! I hate Nike for this ultra-exlusive-release-ish. I wish they would have released them like Jordan does all their exclusives (excluding the Euro-only releases). Angry. I will pray that they come out in a general release, and that it’s soon… eff the re-sellers, but mostly eff the stupid limited releases in towns other than my own (The *ean *itches!). At least give me a chance Nike!

yea, but wrong place to boast about it considering yesterdays 79 post rant about resellers. but props to you for reading what other people write. I didn’t think anyone else did that.
and Hyperdunkman please forgive all of us lowly people who don’t have thousands of dollars to spend on material possessions. thank god you do because we all know there is not a shread of anything substantial inside of people with the attitude that more money makes you a better person.

is there gonna be a general release on the 27th?

It will be interesting to sell how well the Nike Hyperdunks sell. Nike’s making a big push to sell more advanced sneakers with revolutionary technology but the market seems to like the retro sneaker styles.
Comment by Streetball Mag — July 15, 2008 @ 3:34 pm
i never think of tht these kix will be hype like this…
crazy
Comment by XanGelicO — July 15, 2008 @ 4:42 pm
gold i just cant see waiting 3 days on a line for 2 g’s if you really wanted the shoes. aint nobody walking up to you when you walk outta house of hoops offering your 2g’s straight cash!!! you crazy??? these are greedy mofo’s that dont care about the game copping a pair or two if you use your 3 yr old kid to get a wristband for a size 13??? gimme a break and then posting the kicks online to me that’s just plain wrong.
Comment by gank — July 15, 2008 @ 4:44 pm
@ Hyperdunkman
I’m here and i’m far from poor…working on my 3rd property and not one is in forclosure…you see I flip houses (20K a pop as opposed to $1,800) and not kicks so while $2,000 (about what I spent exploring Germany last month) is no problem for me to come up with and spend—> I STILL don’t thrown my money away on some hyped up Nikes just because the bottom plate lights up…if that’s the case L.A. gear are going for $29.99 on eBay…more lights for your buck! lol
As they say …”a fool and his money are soon parted”
Unless you are TRULY rich …as in old money, Prince of Bahrain ‘oil money’ rich then $2,000 spent on these is ridiculous! However, i’m not mad at whomever pocketed the profit
Comment by nikeindabutt — July 15, 2008 @ 4:48 pm
^^^^ I agree. I spend about $300 a month on kicks and could spend way more than I do. Reason being is that I love sneakers but for 2G’s I could make some financial decisions that would bring that back tenfold.
I guarantee you that most of the people that want to spend 2g’s on Hyperdunks are living off someone else or have little to no responsibility in life. Financially well off or not 2g’s is going to my daughters education trust before any sneaker.
Comment by IkonRadio.com — July 15, 2008 @ 5:54 pm
All the haters need to fall back.Just because I made 2000 and you guys sleep on them.Do me a favor and swallow my kids.Plus I didn’t even like these I’m waiting for the “black outs” to release.
Comment by deeznuts — July 15, 2008 @ 6:00 pm
so ugly
Comment by greenmaker24 — July 15, 2008 @ 6:10 pm
Jeez 2K for some Hyperdunks is pure madness. I would never… even if I were rich… well if i were rich then i most likely I would, but then again… I’m rich so i would’ve got them like 3 weeks before release…ANYwho I presently wouldn’t and I have a lot of kicks.
I’m not the second coming of Fat Joe’s collection but I have a few and I ALWAYS get them like half off with my connections. I find it more fulfilling and exciting to know that im wearing a pair of kicks that have a sticker price of 150+ but I only paid like50% to 70% for it. I just copped a pair of the Flightposite (black / gold / metallic silver) Retail is 180+tax but i only paid 100 @ footlocker thru home girl. I felt great knowing i got somewhat of a collectable shoe and it was at a DECENT price.
Real sneaker-heads should do the same because we in a RECESSION save that money for some GAS and MILK!!!
Comment by DMVsneakerFiend — July 15, 2008 @ 7:02 pm
Deeznuts, u A dum dum!
these R ugly, and whoever paid 2,000 must be insane. Ain’t nuthin special about these unless u wanna look like a fairy. enough said!

Comment by FearGODnotthem — July 15, 2008 @ 7:54 pm
i wonder how much would one of the pairs that were actually signed by kobe would go for
Comment by Simba — July 15, 2008 @ 7:56 pm
these are hot but the ones in the movie are way hotter do anybody know if these released in michigan anywhere?
Comment by deon918 — July 15, 2008 @ 8:29 pm
the more i think about it, if i saw someone wearing shoes with lights on them, i would definitely clown on ‘em. and no, not in a hatin’ kind of way. if you’re rockin’ shoes with lights, you’re probably attached to one of those LEASHES that bad parents put their punk kids on! i’d rather buy some straight black and white van slip-ons, and spend the other $1555 on….well, that might buy a barrel of oil these days :p
Comment by diabolik77 — July 15, 2008 @ 8:33 pm
the hyperdunks in my opinion were created for the purpose of making the mcflys, i mean lookat the shape of the og mcfly’s then look at the hyperdunks, the hyperdunk mcflys are basically the more revolutionary versions of the og’s
Comment by g-man — July 15, 2008 @ 9:04 pm
These aren’t even that nice…Sure some idiot can come on and claim people paid 2k for these, but I’ve yet to see a pair on ebay actually sell for that much. If these were just a limited edition colorway without the McFly connection, nobody would be buying these. Even a grand for these? I’d rather go out and buy a pair of Lobbs and have people truly drooling then wearing these lame pair of bball shoes which would look crap anywhere other than the courts.
Comment by b. cheng — July 15, 2008 @ 10:16 pm

makes me sick.
Comment by glen mac — July 15, 2008 @ 11:22 pm
2g is crazy for anybody to pay for some shoes. The sad part of this is what about the person who paid the 2g gets gun down for some $2.00 cloth and rubber shoes, think about how bad there family would feel.If that is not enough then think about the worker that put that shoe together they will not see 2g for the year.NIKE can stop this madness by makeing enough shoes so every one can have a chane to buy them.I’am not a hater i just think 2g can be spent on your future for long term investments rather then short term gains.
Comment by villebilly — July 15, 2008 @ 11:59 pm
I don’t understand how people hate on resellers when Flightclub basically does the same thing. If you really look at it deeply all sneaker companies do it because it’s all about making a profit. For the sneaker companies though the hype gives their brand longevity. So it’s smart marketing for them to make the hot ish limited. I don’t hate on any reseller because it’s really all about access. If a sneaker is limited to 200 pair it’s obvious that if you really want the sneaker the best place to get them from is eBay. Also with it being so limited not everyone can get the sneaker point blank. I think the Hyperdunks are just okay in generally especially these. Nike at some point is going to allow people to ID these too which should make things interesting. In summary, just do you people. If someone wants to spend 2K on a pair of kicks let them. The only thing I questions is if you camp out for let’s say 3 days to get these. If you breakdown the hourly rate that’s only about $28 an hour. To some people that may be a lot of money but I don’t think it is.
Comment by D — July 16, 2008 @ 5:39 am
they are official but…come on u cant really be rockin em and stylin like that…somebody thats not on they sneak game wouldnt even look twice at those…so id rather cop some guccis and have every body checkin my foot work lol
Comment by 40 — July 16, 2008 @ 12:41 pm
^^^^exactly^^^^flight club, rif, napsize, you name it..there all resellers. the campout was about a day and a few hrs..the math added up pretty good if you sold the shoes. i use to be the same way when it comes to re-sellers, its kinda like the nike air, jumpman logo..its just pointless. people got to stop buying from re-sellers, but as long as people do,,they’ll exist
Comment by gold — July 16, 2008 @ 12:49 pm
for those who own the shoe, anyone see that the numbers on the tongue glow too?! the NIKE on the back seems to have a bit of glow on it too. or am I on crack and seeing things?
Comment by go — July 16, 2008 @ 1:35 pm

this is the perfect basketball shoe but only a true sneakerhead can rock these on the average
Comment by tru3billion$ — July 16, 2008 @ 10:25 pm
D and gold..
Flight Club does the samev thing, however, Flight Club is almost entirely based off of consignment. Meaning: The Reseller sets his price, and Flight Club does the selling for them..
Comment by straight jordans. — July 17, 2008 @ 4:57 pm
The Philippines had 15 pairs of these and had to be raffled off to 400 people who registered…they retailed here for like $148 only…just like the Black Mambas…
