Today, Kanye West debuts his Yeezy Season 4 collection with official backing from adidas. Taking place outdoors in New York City, we will be watching the show live on Tidal and blogging with updates from the event. Tune into our coverage as it unfolds below.
3:09 Austin, time. The show is still yet to begin but we have a look at the outdoor presentation. As of now it’s all female models that are wait for it, barefoot! Should be an awesome show but might not be the sneaker preview we were waiting for.
3:39 Central Time — The show begins. In addition to the models placed in utilitarian fashion in a group like previous shows, there is also a triangular runway that circles the presentation. As for footwear, boots/heels similar to the pairs Kim Kardashian West wore around Season 2 are featured. Some appear puffy, some appear neoprene, and others are translucent.
3:43 — The aesthetic remains similar to that of previous seasons with earth tones and pops of camo taking on body suits, gym wear, over coats and other apparel.
3:45 — Teyana Taylor and Chanel Iman are among the models.
3:53 — Kanye arrives and is all smiles. He is wearing the Black/Red adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 previously seen on his feet in New York.
3:56 — That’s a wrap! While no menswear or sneakers were shown, Kanye West’s first fashion show (pre-Yeezy) was also a women’s collection.
