Last season, Kyrie Irving claimed one of the most popular basketball shoes on and off the court as the Nike Kyrie 2 captivated fans of all ages. His successful signature series is set to continue this holiday season as Irving revealed that the Nike Kyrie 3 will likely debut on Christmas Day with a release coming in January.
“I think we release on January 21st but I definitely will be wearing a pair of 3s for Christmas and going forward for any other holidays,” Irving said. “January 21 is what we’re looking to aim at. I’m excited. I’m excited to put the product out to you guys and the stories behind the shoes and the creativity behind it. I get really juiced up about it. I get to put my artistic mind to the test.”
Fans keeping an eye on preseason play know that the Kyrie 2 is still getting burn all around the league with new colorways still slated to hit retail. Nike and the recently crowned NBA champ have a big hit to follow and we’re excited to see how they turn out.
