What Kanye West Wore
As the hype builds on the upcoming Air Yeezy that is set to drop starting in March, Kanye is putting in presidential-like campaign work with his footwear game as the This weekend Mr. West was doing his thing on the mic at a variety of events. Starting Friday night at the Z100 Jingle Ball Concert, where he busted out the recently released, Vandal inspired Red Nylon Dunks, the perfect match for his all red outfit. Kanye then followed up that heat with more fire Saturday at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Xmas Show, with a pair of Air Jordan 7 Raptors. Kanye calmed it down a bit on Sunday with his outfit, but his kicks were definitely on point. So what was Yeezy rockin’ on his way out of Los Angeles on Sunday? Watching trends in the sneaker industry is like being back in calculus class. Ups and downs are the only thing that is consistent. Lately, it’s been the “Gucci” colorway that is the craze. The green, red, green, is finding it’s way onto shoes made by Nike, Reebok, Fila and other suspects. Most recently Crooks & Castles and Vans teamed up for a couple of Gucci inspired sneakers.
