“Neon Air Max 95″ Air Force Ones
So far Nike has released a series of Air Force Ones inspired by legendary Zoom Air running shoes including the Talaria, Spiridon, and off-road runners Safari and Mowabb. Later this month an ACG Wildwood make up of the AF1 will wrap up the ACG AF1 series, but next month the Neon Air Max 95 inspires the first of the “Air Max Series” of Air Force Ones.
Across the Atlantic, the “Neon 95″ Air Force 1 released in Paris at We Sold Out where the shoes almost have done just that. Priced at 190€ ($292US) the shoes are almost double the price they will be at US doors when they release June 7th for $175. Though the price is a little high, the rich leather upper and Air Max heel will help to soften the blow. Nike didn’t overlook any details on this sneaker with touches such as 3M reflective material on the back and tongue, neon laces to hook to the Air Max heel, and even a logo flip on the tongue from “AIR MAX” to “AIR FORCE”.

“Rebel Leaders” Fitted for Air Tech Challenge II
Matching fitteds for sneakers is nothing new, but color blocking a logo has been long trumped by more creative make ups for your dome.
Leaders has cooked up an exclusive fitted to match the recently released “Hot Lava” Nike Air Tech Challenge II. The “Rebel Leaders” fitted will release this weekend first in store on May 2nd and then online at 12PM CST on May 3rd for $48 at leaders1354.com. Info thanks to CtotheJL. |
Nike Vandal Supreme and Tech Pack
As we reported last month, a Vintage Vandal High Supremes will be coming to us later in the year, but this week a Tier Zero release of the Vandal Supreme has hit US doors. These did make an appearance before overseas, but have not reached US soil accompanied by a limited Tech Pack. The package that has been received by Major DC includes a set of three T-shirts and three tube socks to represent each color on the strap of the Vandal Supreme High. Those in the mid-Atlantic region better not think too long about these as Major DC has let us know that they have received many calls for them. The Vandals are $100 and the Tech Pack is $125.

Nike Terminator High Color Pack Quickstrike
Ladies got lucky with special treatment of the Color Pack Air Force Ones recently, but next month men will see the a set of Color Pack Terminators. The Terminator has popped up a few times this year, but only looking and though they were just involved in dumpster diving rather than fresh off the shelf.
This set of Terminators come with all the new school touches heads are after. Aside from the unique color ups, the uppers sport rich leather and suedes along with a nylon tongue. The back of the shoe does feature the large “NIKE” text, however reworked and stitched in an updated font as well as a color material quite similar to Safari print to tie in the two tones on the shoes. Each pair is packaged with three sets of laces so one can make their pair even more unique than they already are. To finish off the shoes, the outsoles are colored to tie in with the rest of the shoe rather than the usual plain colors seen on other special Terminators. These are said to be a quickstrike release for May; however, there is no information known on how limited the distribution will be at this point. Pics and info thanks to Kenlu via Sneaker News. |
DQM Nike Blazer Update!
Following up to our earlier posts about the upcoming DQM Nike Blazers we have some more info about the shoes straight from DQM camp.
Chris Keeffe, Dave Ortiz, and Kyle Demers along with Nike designers designed three Blazers with inspiration from BMX and skateboarding in the 1980’s. The original plan was to select the best of three, but all of them were too good so DQM and Nike opted to instead release the shoes in the three part series. The first pair that will release is the Purple DQM Blazer that has been seen the most so far, but the black pair and a third unseen pair will release this summer. The DQM Nike Blazer High will release at their shop as well as other select retailers. Expect more updates to come soon of additional locations as well as info about the other Blazers too. Check out the Purple and Black DQM Blazers after the jump. |
DQM Nike Blazer
A few days ago we gave you a sneak peek at the upcoming DQM Nike Blazer. The shoes have made the cover of the upcoming Sneaker Freaker issue. There still is no release info known published for the shoes other than it will be a Tier Zero drop. No additional photos are available of the black pair; however, Jay Z has been spotted wearing them already. |
DQM x Nike Blazer
Dave’s Quality Meat has had a storied relationship with Nike including one of the most valuable Air Max collabs to date with the “Bacon” Air Max 90s. The DQM team has hooked up with Nike this time around for their take on the Blazer. We can only speculate that this is work between DQM and Nike SB, but nothing is conclusive from the photos.
These teaser shots were posted on the DQM blog showing only little snippets of the Safari print covered kicks, but a promise for more info to be posted this Friday, April 25th. Possibly a release this Saturday? We’ll have to wait and update you when we get the details. Info thanks to Sneaker News. |
