Black/Gold Nylon Dunks “Vandal Supreme”
A few days ago we broke the news on the Nylon Silver/Red-Blue Dunks that were handed out at the Nike “Be True” Family Reunion and it looks like Nike is taking the shiny nylon to more dunks in OG Vandal Supreme colors. High Snobiety just posted pics (that look like Terry Richardson shot) of the Black/Gold colorup that too is an original Vandal Supreme color. No release information is known at this time, but you will hear the word as soon as we get the news. |

what’s up matt? i like this colorway, definitely need to see these in person. I always wanted to see a nylon dunk. I think a combination of suede and nylon would be a nice touch. something similiar to materials used on the saucony jazz…

Chad,
Nylon is a textile. It wont be as thick as leather, but it also doesn’t crease.

I SWEAR MAN…NIKE IS IN A KOMA…THIS IS RETARTED UGLY AND DISGUSTING…SIMPLY THE DUMBEST IDEA TO BE ON A SHOE…

I deffinitly wouldn’t wear the silver, the black are alright I guess… But the idea isn’t that bad, using a different fabric.. They’re kind of funny to be honest.. Still I wouldn’t wear them..
I hope nike keeps up the courage to try out new fabrics.. Silk maybe, they use it on heels already..

i think the vandals are a shoe you have to know your sneaker history about to appreciate it. So i think crossbreeding the vandal with the ever popular yet tiring dunk is a good look. It’ll definitely make hipsters interested in the finesse and concrete history of nike before the air jordan. jmo

This kind of just makes it look gimmicky. Not too bad colorway, but all nylon doesnt make me want to buy it too much.

If they could figure out a way to make the nylon tighter I’d like the concept alot—just not feeling the material looking so baggy
A supreme vandal dunk pack would be cool if they could make it look more sleek and less like a down coat…
