Air Jordan 7 “Hare” Countdown Package
 Rumors of “Hare” Jordan 7’s have been floating around ever since the shoes first came back in December of 2002. Of all of the original colorways of the Air Jordan 7 from 1992, only this colorway and the “bordeaux” are the only two to not make it back, but you can scratch one off your list if you grab the 16/7 Countdown Package that releases in June.
The Jordan 16/7 Countdown Package will be the first set to release with two pairs identical to the originals. Jordan Brand has been throwing us curve balls ever since the initial drop with things such as a stitched 23 on the Jordan 10, non original color of the Jordan 14, as well as high top Black/Red Jordan 21 that we will see later this month. Like all retros from this year (besides the Jordan 1’s) you can only grab them if you lay down the full $310 for the Countdown Pack. Scoop these June 21st when they release. Pics from KATC. |

Also, there was a promo “Hare Jordan” shoe that was on display at stores. They are rare to find, but I missed out on one just a few nights ago on eBay.

what I meant to say was I thought the VI/XVII were dropping May 24th, not this package (VII/XVI)…correct me if I’m wrong.

Bugs Bunny was used in a commercial for the Air Jordan VII’s before the VIII. In the commercial, Bugs has a pair of VII’s in this colorway, that is why they are called the “Hares”. I had a pair of these when they first came out, it’s still one of my favorite colorways for the VII.

Missed out before, in childhood, not happening again.
I’m still praying for a day I’ll see the Bordeaux VII’s.
I’ve gotten my wish with the Carmine VI…
