Tell us a little about you and your position at the store: I’m a 23 year old from Detroit, Michigan. Became an employee at Soles Inc. about a year ago when I moved to Miami Beach. I also do most of the designing for the store (i.e. a lot of flyers, new era caps, tee’s & more.)
What makes your store special? The staff at Soles Inc. pride themselves in being one of the best in customer service. One thing we want to make sure is that our customers have a great time while shopping at our store. We have a talented staff that knows a lot about the product we sell and can have a great time with the customers at the same time. The staff consists of myself “The Artist”, two managers: Demion “The Shoe Guru” and Jeff “The Master Merchandiser” and owners Adam & Jacob “The brothers”. Being on South Beach, many of our customers are tourists and we often have the same tourists come back time after time when in Miami, if not to shop, then to just kick it with the staff. We also have a cool crew of people that hang around our store on a daily basis.
Shoe that got you hooked: Jordan 6 black/infrared (I believe I was 6). I had most Jordans growing up from the Jordan 6-13 and then kinda fell off the sneaker game, started collecting again when I got to college, my roommate Benny put me back on…he had a sick collection.
Last pair you purchased: Jordan 12 “Flu Game”
Favorite pair you don’t own: Jordan 17+ (copper) – had them when they came out, but I’m not sure what happened to them…must have got lost over the years.
Top 3 of all-time: White/White AF1 low, Aqua Jordan 8, Carmine Jordan 6
Amount of pairs you own: Probably around 75 now, since I started collecting again.
Which upcoming release are you looking forward to?: The Air Yeezy 2?
