Following in the steps of Kanye West and Virgil Abloh, Travis Scott has built a sneaker catalogue loved by the massed. The hip-hop extraordinaire has revolutionized not only music, but sneakers as well. So far, each collaboration has released to incredible anticipation. From his limited Air Jordan 4 “Cactus Jack” release to his famous Air Jordan 1 “Travis Scott” collaborations, fans around the globe gather in anticipation for every signature release. As a result, La Flame has established himself as one of sneaker’s premiere names. Luckily for fans who missed out on previous pairs, rumors have mentioned that Travis Scott and Jordan Brand are ready for the release of two new colorways of Air Jordan 1.
The new colorways of Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 1 are dressed in “Chicago” and “Clay Green” inspired colorways. Instagram leaks of the latter display a “Clay Green” upper standing atop of a sail midsole and red outsole. Similar to his previous pair, the sneaker features his signature reverse swoosh. Additionally, both pairs look to have the same colorblocking as the original collaboration. While the leaks have not displayed the entire shoe, both pairs should also include the “Cactus Jack” logo on the heel, insole, and mid-panel. As 2020 continues, expect Jordan Brand to confirm the upcoming release.
Both iterations of Travis Scott’s new Air Jordan 1 do not have an official release date, though if released, will be through select Nike retailers. How do you feel about these new colorways? Let us know in the comments below.
