As 2018 is slowly coming to an end, the NBA’s sneakerheads are still going strong. We saw a lot of unanticipated heat this week coming from all ends. Whether it’s reigning KOC Champ PJ Tucker going off, the perhaps retro debut of the Air Jordan 19 or Nick Young in full Swaggy P mode, this week was anything but disappointing.

+ The adidas Crazy 8 was a small taste of what Kobe and his adidas line would’ve been before he left for Nike

4. Air Jordan 19 “Chrome”

+ The Air Jordan 19 was inspired by a black mamba given that the deadliest snake rises when it feels threatened
+ The shoe was an innovative breakthrough as it was the first basketball shoe ever to include tech-flex material which is used in automobiles

3. Nike Kobe 11 “Peach Jam”

+ DeRozan is one of the very few elite players that’s continuing the Mamba’s legacy in the league
