STAUD & New Balance Collide on Vibrant “Classic Then, Classic Now” Capsule

Retailer STAUD and footwear imprint New Balance are once again revisiting their lauded collaboration, this time on a vibrant “Classic Then, Classic Now” Pack comprising reinventions of the latter’s 574 and 57/40 silhouettes.

For their fourth team-up, which is part of a multi-year collaboration, the duo has drawn inspiration from two distinct generations of classics. First up the New Balance 574 keeps it classy by using heritage materials and bold, primary colors such as yellow, red, and blue.

On the other hand, the New Balance 57/40 features an ultra-modern take on the silhouette, which is constructed from premium leather and translucent details, the latter of which has never been seen on the model prior. Final details include colorful “N” insignias on the mid-panels and STAUD branding on the tongues and insoles.

The STAUD x New Balance “Classic Then, Classic Now” Pack will release on October 26 via staud.clothing and NewBalance.com. Each model will arrive in special boxes and five sets of colored laces and will be priced at $150 each. Along with the two footwear offerings, a range of matching apparel items will also release.
