Women-owned and Texas-made, Premium Goods is Houston’s own sneaker boutique that’s been bringing heat to H-town since 2004. Premium Goods founder Jennifer Ford made history as she launched the first independent sneaker boutique in Texas. Now, Ford celebrates yet another milestone in her career with the new Premium Goods x Nike Air Force 1 Low Collection, which casts the colorways “Bella” and “Sophia” as the stars of the show.
Ford uses her passion and experience in jewelry to inspire the collection. The Air Force 1 gets reimagined through the lens of classic and timeless luxury as Ford blends textures, incorporates artisanal techniques, and apprises elegant color stories. Ford recognizes that much like jewelry, sneakers have the power to become cherished heirlooms with meaningful connection.
For the “Sophia” the sneaker is crafted with an assortment of luxury “Black” overlays and premium materials like quilted “Sand” leather, perforated leather tongues, along with beaded Swooshes and heel tabs. Other details include gold aglets and lace dubraes, followed by Premium Goods branding on the tongue tabs and insoles.
The “Bella” takes on a similar form, except with monochromatic details in “Flat Opal.” Everything from the quilted leather quarter panels to the perforated leather tongues are all covered in “Flat Opal.” Noteworthy details include beaded multi-color Swooshes and heel tabs, along with Premium Goods branding on the tongue tabs. Additionally, the sneaker is fitted with rope laces and gold lace dubraes.
