The Virgil Effect—Nike and Off-White™ switched up the sneaker game back in 2017 with “The Ten” collection. Up next, Nike announces the upcoming release of the Off-White™ x Nike Blazer Low featuring adornments and design aesthetics that Off-White is well-known for.
This offering features black leather with black mudguards and toe caps. Uppers consist of translucent TPE circles throughout the toe box, forefoot, midfoot and heel that was first seen on the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5. The circles can remain intact or cut out with a razor blade. A green cordlike laces wrap across the uppers which is similar to the Off-White™ x Nike Dunk Low. There’s speculation that Helvetica also appears on the medial midfoot, which is yet to be confirmed. Exposed foam tongues with branded tags finish off the top half. The signature zip tie and Helvetica text shoelace branding are utilized to complete the look.
Furthermore, the midsoles in the front are standard to the Blazer silhouette and switch up in the back with a thicker two-piece cushioning system—gold speckled detailing is joined by blue and green shapes featuring small circular details.
The release date for the Off-White™ x Nike Blazer Low, but there’s speculation that it will release later this year. Check out the photos below thanks to @wavegod_thelegend &
