Nike Dunk High Pro SB Stone Throws Quasimoto Promo Sample

My Holy Grail would have to be the Stones Throw Records 10th Anniversary Nike SB Quasimoto Dunks. When sample images first surfaced, I was floored. I was heavy into Stones Throw music – Madlib MF DOOM – and Stones Throw Records were dropping classic albums. So when I found out there was a Quasimoto Dunk coming, they were going to be a definite cop for me. The colors and materials used on these were so unique. Looking back, they kind of look like a precursor to the Coraline dunks that released a little while later, but I digress. A couple weeks went by, and some additional info came out saying they were a “Friends and Family” release only. This completely ruined my week.

In September of 2012, I found a DS pair on eBay in my size 11.5. I guess someone must’ve been strapped for cash. I had just got a bonus at work, so I figured I’d bid higher than I usually would to get these. Well, I tried my best by bidding $850, which was the most I was EVER going to pay for shoes, but at the end, someone outbid me and I lost the auction by $10. To this day, I have never seen another pair, but the hunt is still on.
