Earlier this year, frequent collaborators Reebok and Korean streetwear giant Kanghyuk unveiled their latest joint effort, new colorways of the latter’s DMX Run 2 Modern silhouette.
Now the time has finally come. Coming in two colorways, the Kanghyuk x Reebok DMX Run 6 Modern was previewed in the brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 lookbook. Under the creative direction of Evan Belforti, the sneaker appears styled in its “Black Onyx” and “Star White” colorways, paired with complementary sportswear-inspired looks.
The sneakers themselves incorporate dynamic linework in an energetic shade of high risk red. The silhouettes take on an asymmetrical shape as the shoe features warped accents, 3D textural details, and an extended Reebok vector. The sneaker is rounded off with Kanghyuk branding on the tongue and a chunky midsole with webbed detailing below.
