Reports today indicate that Jordan Brand and Converse will be releasing their first two-pair pack this June.
This upcoming pack is not that surprising where historical context is concerned. Jordan Brand and Converse have a history together, centered around Michael Jordan predominately wearing Converse during his collegiate years at North Carolina. In fact, MJ wore the Converse Pro Leather en route to a NCAA National Championship back in 1982. The two brands honored that moment by releasing a commemorative pair of Pro Leathers via auction back in 2012, the 30th anniversary of Jordan’s game winning shot.
It’s unclear at this time what the pack will include, but we’re almost certain that a Pro Leather will be one half of the offering. Stay tuned for more on the Jordan x Converse Pack. Currently, June 28 is the anticipated Jordan Release Date.
