For years, the worlds of fashion and sneakers have collided to new levels that have risen in an unprecedented fashion. The blend of performance, luxury and a scarcity of goods have created an echelon of swagger for A-list celebrities and star athletes.
Whether it’s through recaps of Celebrity Style Weekly Top Fits & Kicks or complete documentations of kicks/fits for certain players, fashion and sneakers have turned into a focal point for not only us but for the players and even professional teams.
Recently, the Phoenix Suns teamed up with local non-profit organizations to present their inaugural Rise In Style fashion show.
Co-founded by the extremely wavy Valley Boyz in Kelly Oubre Jr. and Deandre Ayton, the players created a platform in which they not only got to show off their exuberant aesthetic but centered it all around what matters to them most — the Phoenix community.
The each member of the team, including head coach Monty Williams and GM James Jones, were paired with a child from one of the local organizations. From piecing together fire fits to walking down the runway together, Rise In Style reminds us that the power of fashion and sneakers is unlimited.
The night was filled with amazing fits and unforgettable memories for both the players and the kids who got the share the limelight with the one-of-a-kind fashion show. Peep the entirety of the Rise In Style show below. Let us know your favorite fits over on social media.
