Celebrity Sneaker Stalker // 2015 All-CSS Rookie Team

Love Celebrity Sneaker Stalker? Well, this is your week. As 2015 comes to a close, we’re ready to recap and reward the artists, athletes and entertainers that have been bringing out heat all year. To start off the festivities, we unveil our first ever All-CSS Rookie Team.

Ranging from mainstream icons to underground up-and-comers, see the six (in this case seven) stars on the rise that caught our eye in 2015. Who deserves the Rookie of the Year crown? You decide in the voting poll and comments section.

Fetty Wap

It’s hard to imagine having a wilder year than Fetty Wap‘s 2015. Through a tremendous run of highs and a few lows, two things have been consistent for the Remy Boy: a smile on his face and heat on his feet. Though not big on fashion per our interview with the NJ native over SXSW, he’s been a big Jordan fan for years, getting inked with a Jumpan tattoo before 1738 was on the radio 24/7.

Rocking more than just recent releases, Fetty has used his new to cash to cop (and rock) old favorites like the “French Blue” 12s, “Peapod” 8s, “Citrus” 7s and much, much more. On top of that, his rookie run really took off in February when Kanye West brought him out in NYC at All-Star Weekend, helping debut the then-unreleased adidas Yeezy Season 1 footwear and apparel. Great guy, good sneakers, we hope to see and hear more of Fetty Wap in 2016.
