Although there are far too many sneaker collaborations to count, and many more than probably even shouldn’t be considered in said count, there are those that stand as a shining example for what a collaboration should look like.
Back in 2015, it was the BAPE x UNDFTD x adidas Superstar that ranked among the best that year. Then, in 2017, there was the BAPE x NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Superstar Nh. Another that towered above the rest in its respective season.
The latter trio resurfaces today, two years later, to announce yet another collaborative effort. This one, centered around the POD 3.1 and NMD STLT, finds the storied Bapesta and traditional NBHD colors join on a duo of modern contemporary three stripes silhouettes. Chinese characters alongside the NBHD skull and bones are also present, ensuring that every T is crossed and I dotted.
