ASICS is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the GT-II which features its original shape and external heel clip. This “Goriako” colorway, which directly translates to the arrival of light, is inspired by the sunrise at the apex of Mount Fuji.
The upper uses a Pale Apricot suede on the base and overlays with the ASICS SportStyle logo appearing in navy blue on the lateral side and a lighter sky blue on the medial. ASICS branding is seen on the tongue tag and heel, with the ASICS GEL logo appearing on the lateral heel of the white midsole. The ASICS GT-II features GEL cushioning in the heel for all-day comfort and a white and Pale Apricot outsole to finish off the sneaker.
