More $400 Air Jordan 5’s, you ask? Yes, more of those. But this new pair releasing in summer offers a certain newness its predecessors don’t.
When considering the “Take Flight” pair in Olive and the Pure Platinum release this weekend, they fall under a certain aesthetic umbrella that the Air Jordan 5 PRM “Triple Black” does not. Here, the reimagined Air Jordan 5 is coated in a thick black leather with deconstructed mesh windows fashioned with ribbing that corresponds with the shoes tongue construction. Additionally, the tongue itself seems shorter — possibly in efforts to allow the “Flight” scripted lace lock that rest just below some shine.
