LeBron James and Kanye West have an interesting history.
While the two had likely long been fans of each other, their public support was first seen in the summer of 2010 when West appeared at LeBron’s infamous The Decision.
Though said special was highly publicized, it was far from a celebrity spectacle as West was the one and only famous friend in attendance with the actual event being more of a charity event in real life than a spot to be seen at.
In the time following, West would reference LeBron on records like “Devil in a New Dress” and “Black Skinhead” with King James showing his public support via vocal fandom of Watch The Throne and shoe choices inspired by Kanye’s catalog.
A very vocal public departure from Nike by West and very talked about episode of The Shop featuring Drake may suggest Yeezy and King James aren’t as cool as they used to be but a recent wear by Bron might make us think things are cooler than assumed.
