Yo! MTV Raps Videos by Puma x VIMBY

Puma first got down with MTV celebrating the music network’s 20th birthday with two special make ups of the Yo! MTV Raps Clydes. The pink colorway dropped at Classic Kicks in NYC, but the green color was only distributed amongst those “who know somebody, who know somebody”.

Puma and VIMBY have gotten together to put together a series of webisodes to document the golden era of hip hop. In the first of a five part collaboration between VIMBY and PUMA, Fab 5 Freddy, the original host of Yo! MTV Raps, discusses the beginnings of hip hop and introduces some of the names that changed the game forever. School is in session.

1. I remember when I first started wearing Puma’s back in the day and then stopped once KRS had that line about them being wack. I recently copped the Spy vs Spy, and No Mas. So, I could see myself rocking some of the Puma’s in this video and I am definitely still going to get those Evisu/Puma jeans. Keep doing your thing Puma is starting to make a comeback don’t sleep.

2. I funny because most sneaks is being seen on in Hip Hop game or the B BALL COURT these days, which PUMA is Really missing from the B Ball game these days but them Clydes is 1 of the first cool B Ball and Hip Hop Classics.
