Unveiled in Y-3‘s Chapter 1 campaign for Fall/Winter 2018 are two footwear offerings – the Bynder Super and the Bynder High. These silhouettes borrow heritage inspiration from the brand, while incorporating Y-3’s contemporary edge.
The Bynder Super references obvious details from the infamous Superstar, thanks to the shell toe design. The rest of the upper consists of a suede design that’s accented with a Sashiko stitching on the quarter for a cultural twist. Meanwhile the Bynder High is designed with a high-top construction that features an all-black fully suede upper. Also sporting a Sashiko stitching that’s contrasted in white, this silhouette also features a Y-3 logo just above the ankle for a subtle branding hit.
