Customs are quite possibly the new PEs.
We’ve already seen two custom sneakers worn during Opening Week of the 2013-2014 NBA season, and we’re about to see a third in a few hours. Tonight, Los Angeles Lakers forward Wes Johnson (@Weside11) will debut his adidas Crazy 8 “Python/Ostrich” Custom on court. The 1-of-1, designed in a collaborative effort between Megan Ann Wilson and JBF Customs, is comprised of white ostrich, white python and a touch of grey python above the toe area and on the heel. Johnson will wear this shoe tonight to coincide with the Lakers’ debut of their alternate white uniforms tonight.
