Throwback Thursday - Asics Gel Lyte III OG
 It’s that day of the week again!
For this week’s throwback we decided to mix things up a bit giving some shine to an early 90’s classic that has been coming back in a big way recently that does NOT have a swoosh on it. The Asics Gel Lyte III was a major hit in 2007 with collaborations with David Z, Patta, and ALIFE. Greater than some of the interpretations that these boutiques had are the OG colors that were splashed on the shoes in the early 1990’s when the Gel Lyte III originally released. If the shape of the shoes looks a little off, its because these are kiddo’s size. Though I have been aggressively looking for a pair of OG Gel Lyte IIIs for a while, this colorway seems to allude me. Asics did bring this color up back as a Euro release, but like with any re-release, colors were not exactly on point with the orange not quite as loud as the original. Nice pick Matt! I love Nike, but always love seeing other brands get shine. Maybe could we see some OG Adidas?
