The Trainer 1 line is integral to Nike Training, as it is the foundation on which all current and future products are built. The original Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Trainer 1 started it all and 2009 brought a major reboot with the Nike Trainer 1. The Trainer 1.2 is the next step in the line. It features similar styling and performance characteristics to the Trainer 1, like a Max Air heel, Flywire quarter panel and Diamond Flex technology, as well as a forefoot strap.
