The Los Angeles sneaker scene gets drawn together on Saturday, October 29th. All SN’EADS UNITE gives LA sneaker fans a chance to congregate over kicks; offering exhibits, live art by REE of SN’EADS, and the chances to buy, sell, and trade. Music and food will be going all day as will a car wash out back. Check out event details below.

Hype. Connections. Resellers. Camaraderie. These are all words that sneakerheads are all too familiar with. In today’s SN’EADS by R E E, we get a comical view of all these themes in one of the year’s biggest releases: the Nike Mag 2011. In addition to a good laugh, the satire also brings up a few serious issues. Check out the complete strip below and see if you can identify all these themes. We definitely think this is one of the best SN’EADS episodes to date.

As we stated earlier in the week, G-Roc and The Shoe Game will be celebrating its four-year anniversary today, December 22nd, 2010 at the Nike Running Store, from 9:30 PM to 1AM. The Shoe Game will feature 17 giveaways including two “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 11s. To coincide with this special event, Ree has created a special edition of SN’EADS for The Shoe Game titled “Baby SN’EADS. Three babies are ecstatic after finding out about The Shoe Game’s four-year anniversary; yet, are babies allowed in parties?

SN’EADS – “South Beach Player”

There will be a lot of hoopla surrounding the Miami Heat this year to say the least. Tyree, creator of the SN’EADS episodes, uses Miami Heat stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade as his latest inspiration for the latest SN’EADS edition. It starts off with LeBron anticipating Dwyane Wade’s return from injury. Instead of comparing he and Wade’s tandem to Batman/Robin, King James refers to the two as the new Crockett and Tubbs, the duo in Miami Vice.
