While neither of those makeups are on the market now, some of the most sought after retro releases also turned heads. Jodie Meeks scored a career-high in Kobe Bryant’s abscence, sporting a pair from the acclaimed Prelude Pack. DeMar DeRozan, Kenneth Faried, Donald Sloan, Jimmy Butler, Michael Beasley and more rocked re-released hardwood classics, while Terrence Ross and DeMarcus Cousins elected OGs.

Gone for surgery but now he’s back again, Russell Westbrook had his best performance of the season last night against the Suns. The explosive point guard was back to his ways, dropping a season-high 36 points in an “Orange Camo” Air Jordan XX8 SE PE. Scoring aside, Russ stuffed the entire stat sheet by racking up 9 boards, 9 assists and 4 steals.

There were a ton of special on-court moments in regards to sneakers this past weekend. Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry wore “The Zone” Under Armour Anatomix Spawn, which pays tribute to his 54-point game in The Garden last season, guards Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard both debuted white and gold Air Jordan XX8 SE PEs for Oscar night, while Isaiah Thomas laced up a grey and purple Reebok Kamikaze I PE.

We knew that Westbrook would wear the beloved Air Jordan XX8 SE in his much-anticipated return from injury last night, but this time, Jordan Brand incorporated an accent that declared yesterday a great day for another person as well. Westbrook wore his go-to white and black Air Jordan XX8 SE PE, but this edition comes complete with pink laces and an imprinted message on the outsole that reads, “HAPPY BDAY MOM.” Westbrook also added, “Happy B-Day Mom…Why Not?” using a sharpie on the toe area. Last night, the latter finally returned to OKC’s lineup in a gaudy Air Jordan XX8 SE PE. In agreement with the Thunder’s bizarre color scheme, Russell’s XX8 SE PE features a mainly white base with various hints of orange and photo blue throughout the upper. This SE is complimented with yellow laces to further connect with OKC’s uniforms.
