Nike Air Bakin

The Nike Air Bakin is arguably the most infamous basketball sneaker of the 1990s. It became famous on the court do the endorsement from NBA stars Tim Hardway and Mitch Richmond. Off the court it drew news headlines for its "Air" logo that bared resemblance to the the Arabic form of "Allah". Nike recalled the sneakers and put a Swoosh patch over the controversial area. The Nike Air Bakin has returned in original and new colorways and has also inspired the Nike ACG Air Max Bakin Posite Boot.
