Just because the Nike KD VI is gaining steam, doesn’t mean it has completely taken over the tracks. Kevin Durant recently took to his Instagram to show off an all-red colorway of his fifth signature shoe, the Nike KD V. Dressed in an entirely red getup, this KD V is blazing with not one contrasting color.
The KD V is the fifth signature sneaker from Kevin Durant. Set to release in December 2012, you can expect a plethora of colorways just like Nike Zoom KD IV.

Another KD PE has surfaced via Randy Williams on Instagram and it is the Nike KD V “Montverde Academy” PE. Modeled after the purple and gold of the Montverde Academy Eagles, this KD V features an-all purple upper complimented with a gold Swoosh and gradient midsole. These were made specifically for the Florida prep academy. Therefore, a retail release is unlikely.
The Nike KD V “St. Benedict’s” PE is previewed, pairing maroon and grey on the Durant design. This prep school exclusive features the team’s nickname on the ankle, with a gradient midsole graphic and speckling adding personality. The first Kevin Durant signature sneaker to don N7 inspiration was the KD IV, and it’s hard to believe it’s been a year since the release. Now, images and release information have surfaced of the Nike KD V N7. The sneaker features a light blue base with an overlaying yellow accented pattern. The N7 KD V will go on sale April 13, 2013 at select Nike Basketball retailers.
