During the month of March, Thomas' Sacramento Kings are collaborating with UNICEF's United States Fund to ensure that not one child is deprived of clean water. The team is auctioning off different items to raise money for the noble move, and one of their premier items is this game-worn PE. Dressed in Kings white, black and speckled purple, this unreleased colorway is personalized with the fiery guard's "IT" logo on the heels. Complete with a certificate of authenticity, Isaiah Thomas' signature and the scuff marks to prove its use, this Kamikaze II PE is open for your generous bids by clicking here.
There were a ton of special on-court moments in regards to sneakers this past weekend. Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry wore "The Zone" Under Armour Anatomix Spawn, which pays tribute to his 54-point game in The Garden last season, guards Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard both debuted white and gold Air Jordan XX8 SE PEs for Oscar night, while Isaiah Thomas laced up a grey and purple Reebok Kamikaze I PE. Check out these kicks on court, plus some of the other notables of this weekend, below.
Sacramento Kings point guard Isaiah Thomas continues to bring player exclusive versions of some of the most beloved Reebok Classics silhouettes to the court. In last night's win against Denver, Thomas torched the Nuggets with 33 points while wearing a black and white PE makeup of the Reebok Kamikaze 1. Thomas' PE features a simple black and white color scheme similar to the original colorway, but without the green panels and/or accents.
With the exception of a two-game schedule tonight, the first half of the 2013-2014 NBA season is at its end. Most players took to the court once more before the NBA All-Star break last night and brought out some of the best kicks we've seen on court this season. In detail, Norris Cole and Draymond Green brought the "Miami Heat" Nike Air Zoom Flight The Glove and the "Laney" Air Jordan 5 to the court for the first time, respectively, in last night's nationally televised game between the Heat and Warriors. We also spotted Sacramento Kings point guard Isaiah Thomas in a Reebok Kamikaze II Low PE and Denver Nuggets forward Jordan Hamilton debuting the Prelude Nike Kobe V. If you recall, Hamilton also debuted the Prelude Nike Kobe II, the "Gamma Blue" Air Jordan 11 and the "Gamma Blue" Air Jordan 12 earlier this season. View these kicks on court, plus Al-Farouq Aminu's Nike Air Veers, Quincy Miller's Air Jordan 5 and Carmelo Anthony's new PEs, below.
For the return of the hardwood classic, the Reebok Kamikaze II Mid, Rucker Park was blessed with the presence of the man that made the shoe popular, and an emerging young NBA star. Shawn Kemp, the Reignman, crashed the launch event for the "Letter of Intent" colorway held at the famed streetball court where Isaiah Thomas of the Sacramento Kings was in attendance. Thomas graced the court wearing the newly released kicks, while Shawn Kemp looked on from the sidelines before putting on a post-game slam dunk show. Today marks the official launch of “Letter of Intent” Kamikaze IIs at key Reebok retailers for $100. Check out the recap video and photos from the event down below.
