The Jordan Melo M10 is essentially the Air Jordan XX8 SE. Or is it?
The multi-directional traction pattern is indistinguishable, the Jordan Flight Plate is integrated into both, and the lacing structure appears to be the same. Aesthetically (and performance-wise in some aspects), the M10 and the XX8 SE are comparable, but there are a few qualities incorporated into the Jordan Melo M10 that make it more of a ‘power position’ shoe than the Air Jordan XX8 SE. Find out the minor tweaks – and in some ways major tweaks – that give Carmelo Anthony’s 10th signature shoe its own distinct fit and function.
The Gamma Blue color scheme has been a popular choice for Nike/Jordan Brand’s latest basketball footwear, and many players around the league have been spotted in various sneakers that feature the current “in” color.
Gamma Blue Jordans were on display last night in both games on the NBA schedule. Carmelo Anthony recorded 29 points, eight rebounds and five assists in his debut of the “Gamma Blue” Jordan Melo M10, while second-year player Quincy Miller of the Denver Nuggets laced up the “Gamma Blue” Air Jordan 11. Also, fellow teammates Nate Robinson and Darrell Arthur took to the court in the “Gamma Blue” Air Jordan 12. View these kicks on court, plus Timofey Mozgov’s Huaraches, below.
Last night, Carmelo Anthony stepped out in Harlem to celebrate the launch of the Jordan Melo M10. The original House of Hoops location was filled with young fans, eager to get the details on the latest shoe from the Knicks star small forward and Jordan Brand. Angela Yee and DJ Envy from the Power 105 Breakfast Club hosted the event, chatting up with Melo while sporting his original and latest signature offering.
