Spike Lee Wearing “NY Knicks” Spizikes
 I suppose when you get a model of sneakers named in your honor for working with MJ and company you deserve your own special makeups. Spike Lee has recently been sporting a new pair of Spizikes while attending NBA matchups. On Sunday, Spike was in Los Angeles for the Lakers/Spurs game wearing this pair of NY Knicks colored Spizikes and last night he was wearing them again at the final home game for the Knicks.
At this point there is no word of these releasing, but lately Air Jordan Brand has been keeping us on our toes. If some of your may remember, we first posted the Cool Grey Spizikes that were spotted on MJ’s feet last summer only to see an update that they were “Coming Soon” to Opium in Paris. All in all, anything is possible and don’t be super surprised if these aren’t a limited release in the future. |

Not feeling those at all…if they were going to do a special “Knicks” coloway that was fine but couldn’t they have made better use of the orange/blue/white combo on these? All that orange and white has them looking like a bootleg shoe from omarskicks.com!

I agree add a little royal blue to the shoe and you have a better looking shoe. A bit too much orange and not enough of the royal blue. Possibly make the midsole or the strip above royal blue.

^^^ Excellent idea…they should hire you at JB. Since the black cements are rumored to be incl. in the XX/III pack I doubt if we’ll see Spiz’ikes in that colorway.

^^^Nobody said the kicks ARE fakes…the comment was that they LOOK like a pair that was cooked up by the bootleggers…

^^^ What does his money or good MSG seating having to do with his kicks??? This is not Fortune magazine’s website…it’s niceKICKS (i.e. a spot where you’re SUPPOSED to comment on kicks)! I’m mad you were up at 3:50AM typing that irrelevant statement…but I digress…
As for the shoes it looks like most people are in agreement that the colorway Spike is rocking ^^^ is a bad look for the Spiz’ike…if there are plans for a release JB needs to revamp the use of orange/blue.

First of all, I’m not sure Spike Lee has ever SEEN a fake pair of spizikes. Also, they could’ve done better with these colors. I mean, the entire midsole is orange! They could have made it partially white like most of the other spizikes.
