Black durabuck, a shorter cut version of suede, covers the majority of the upper on the “Black Grape” 5s. The result is a finish that is smooth, soft and richly saturated to match the midsole.
Plastic Eyelets
Aesthetically, the Air Jordan 5 features three sets of plastic eyelets on each side. The “Black Grape” eyelets take on a flat black finish. From a functional standpoint, the dual sets of lace loops in each eyelet allow for a customizable fit.
